Minimum Bid: $300.00
Sold Price: $19,500.78 (includes buyer's premium)

Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols album signed on the front cover in black ballpoint by Johnny Rotten, Paul Cook, Steve Jones, and Sid Vicious, the latter signing first name only. In very good to fine condition, with scattered surface scuffing, heaviest to top edge, a light ‘ring of wear,’ and bit of surface loss to upper left. The record is included. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from REAL, as well as a letter of provenance, in part: “Autographed by the group at the concert they played in Huddersfield on Xmas day 1977. The autographs were obtained by a local guy who has taken his brother’s two young children to the afternoon performance which was a special show just for the children of local fire-service men who were at that time on a strike…the concert was put on free-of-charge by Virgin Records. His older brother…arrived a short while after and was amazed to find that his brother had managed to get the autographs of the Sex Pistols, as they still had somewhat of a ‘nasty’ reputation but they were by all accounts, laughing and joking around with everyone and taking the time to talk with any fans that wanted to meet them.” Fully signed albums from the Sid Vicious era remain exceedingly rare, with this example serving as the first we have ever offered.
