Collection of seven items, each signed by an important South Vietnamese military leader, many inscribed, including: Do Cai Tri (SP), an ARVN general killed in a helicopter accident in 1971 during an incursion into Laos; Cao Van Vien (SP), chairman of the South Vietnamese Joint General Staff considered one of the most important leaders in the country’s history; Nguyen Huu Co (SP), a lieutenant general prominent in several coups and juntas in the 1960s; Nguyen Khanh (SP), general who served in various capacities as head of state and prime minister of South Vietnam while at the head of a military junta from January 1964 until February 1965; Duong Van Minh (signature), senior general who assumed the presidency after the assassination of Ngo Dinh Diem; Tran Van Chon (signature), a rear admiral and chief of naval operations; and Lu Mong Lan (signature), an infantry commander.
