Description                           Estimate: $200+          

Two letters by Mountbatten of Burma and one by his wife Edwina: an ALS signed “Mountbatten of Burma,” one page, Villa Guardamangia letterhead, May 31, 1949, sending thanks for a newspaper clipping; a TLS signed “Mountbatten of Burma,” one page, Broadlands letterhead, November 15, 1965, concerning a copy of “The Mountbatten Lineage”; and a TLS signed “Edwina Mountbatten,” one page, Red Cross letterhead, November 2, 1943, sending thanks for good wishes to her husband. In overall fine condition, with a small portion of Mrs. Mounbatten’s letter curiously removed. Accompanied by a receipt for a book to be sent to Edwina Mountbatten. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
