Description  

Born Eugenio Maria Giuseppe Giovanni Pacelli (1876–1958), he served as pope from 1939 until his death. Beautiful hand-illuminated manuscript vellum DS in Latin, signed “Pius PP XII,” one page, 11.25 x 16, September 18, 1952. In part (translated): "Most Holy Father, the members of the family of Eberhard Fisch, humbly prostrate at the feet of your Holiness, beg the Apostolic Benediction and a Plenary Indulgence to be gained at the hour of death.” A circular photo of Pope Pius XII is affixed at the top and encircled by a floral wreath. Some scattered bends and creases, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
