Vintage silver-cover 1963 UK tour program for The Beatles Show, 8 x 10, signed on the front cover in blue ballpoint by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. Signatures were obtained on November 24, 1963, at the ABC Cinema, in Hull, Yorkshire. In very good condition, with front and back cover completely detached, a central vertical crease passing through a single letter of each signature, and scattered creases and handling wear. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the son of the original recipient, which reads, in part: “Back in the early 1960s my father worked for ABC Cinemas in Hull. During that time, the Beatles played a concert there and my father was able to get a programme signed by Paul and Ringo.” This was their first-ever show at the ABC, their 20th date on the band’s 1963 Autumn tour. They played a standard 10-song set, including ‘I Saw Her Standing There,’ ‘She Loves You,’ and ‘Twist and Shout.’ Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
