Inscribed on an embossed bookplate affixed to the first free end page, in a calligrapher’s hand which reads, “To Dante B. Fascell, with my best wishes, Christmas 1967,” and signed underneath, “Lyndon B. Johnson.” In very good condition, with some light staining to bottom portion of bookplate, light rippling to signed page, show-through of adhesive on reverse of signed page, and some creasing and edge tears to dustjacket.
